Most agencies are structured around handing work down: you meet the people who sold you the project, then never see them again. Keelbase is small enough that the person who scopes your build is the person who builds it.
We work with businesses where the website is genuinely load-bearing — trades, professional services, small operators who live on enquiries. Those clients do not need a brand exercise. They need pages a search engine can read, a form worth finishing, and follow-up that runs without them.
Being small is a real constraint, so we are straight about it. We take on a handful of builds at a time, we quote a fixed scope and a fixed date, and if a project is not a fit we will say so on the first call rather than three weeks in.
